It's hard to believe that I have not added anything to this column since Sept.

The Mommy and Me contest has ended and the winner is Tracy Cotten from Greenville Texas. I will be sending Tracy all the information this week on her Prize. I will be doing another contest soon so check back to see the latest contest offering.

Things have been very busy lately, I have just finished shooting at Ferris Heights UMC, I have had the pleasure to shoot 2 weddings recently with what will be my last wedding for the year happing this Friday at Elmwoods Gardens. I hope I remember how to get back out there.

It's been a very interesting late summer and early fall. I was shooting a wedding at the Kilgore college farm when one of my cameras starting to go out on me. I switched cameras and finished the shoot but I needed to get a new camera. Then someone broke into my storage unit and stole most of my photography equipment. They never did arrest the person who did it. Best thing to do is to just move on. Which is what I am doing.

I am having a drawing for a free "Mommy and Me" photoshoot. This is where mom and the kids are photographed together. You receive 1 11x14 print 2 8x10 prints and 1 5x7 print. All of the same pose but your choice of pose. There is nothing to buy. Simply send you email address to me at stanleymarquardt@aol.com. The drawing will be held on October 31. On Sept 17 I photographed Jamie and Derreck's wedding in Athens. It was a beautiful wedding with a great reception out at the lake. Every one had a great time. I have not finished working on their images yet but I should be finished later this week.

My Next wedding is coming up this week.  It should be a great one.
